AVP Safety Policy:
AVP declares its intention to maintain and, whenever possible, improve safety levels in all its activities and to minimize its contribution to the risk of aviation accidents, as far as is reasonably practicable.
Safety is a primary consideration of our organization and is a shared value that is always present in everything we do.
We are committed to maintaining compliance with all applicable legislation, meeting all requirements, and adopting practices to improve safety standards.
I will ensure that adequate resources and training are provided to manage, improve, maintain, and effectively implement and oversee our Safety Management System.
AVP is committed to paying special attention to human factors principles and their implications across the various tasks within its area of operation, always taking into account the effects of fatigue on reduced human performance.
As the Accountable Manager, it is my responsibility to ensure the highest level of safety performance in all our operations, activities, and services, as well as to ensure that safety management is a priority for all managers.
All AVP employees and stakeholders are encouraged to report safety events or potential hazards, no matter how insignificant they may seem.
Ensuring an open reporting culture that encourages anonymous and honest reporting through a just and positively reinforced culture is fundamental to AVP. The organization will not take punitive or retaliatory action against any employee who reports a safety incident, occurrence, or hazard, provided that it was not caused deliberately and intentionally.
AVP applies the principles of a “just culture” to internal safety communication and occurrence investigation and, in particular, does not make available or use occurrence information:
Attribute blame or liability to any team member for actions, omissions, or decisions taken that are commensurate with their experience and training;
For any purpose other than maintaining or improving aviation safety.
AVP ensures that all managers continuously promote the safety policy to all personnel, also demonstrating their commitment to it and providing the human and financial resources necessary for its implementation.
AVP promotes proactive and systematic safety management and a positive safety culture.
The organization defines safety objectives that:
form the basis for monitoring and measuring operational safety performance;
reflect the organization’s commitment to maintaining or continuously improving the overall effectiveness of the management system;
are communicated throughout the organization and are periodically reviewed to ensure they remain relevant and appropriate to the organization.
These objectives are for the benefit of the company, our employees, and our customers.
AVP ensures that safety standards are not reduced due to commercial pressures.
AVP recognizes the need for all personnel to cooperate with the compliance monitoring process and internal investigations.
All AVP employees share the responsibility to act in accordance with applicable legislation, standards, and best practices, cooperating with compliance monitoring and safety processes in order to fully understand and implement policies and procedures.
The organization clearly defines for all employees and managers the scope of their personal responsibility in achieving the adopted safety performance indicators, as well as in ensuring the effective functioning of the Safety Management System as a whole.
Furthermore, we ensure that all employees receive adequate and appropriate information regarding their duties, guaranteeing that tasks assigned are proportionate to their competencies.
Our Safety Management System is developed and implemented in a proactive and systematic manner, always aiming at continuous improvement.
The Safety Policy will be reviewed whenever necessary to comply with all issued regulatory requirements that require amendments to the AVP SMS.
This declaration is based on the commitment to promote and contribute to a safe aviation environment and to build a strong safety culture.

The Accountable Manager holds ultimate responsibility for Operational Safety within the organization.
The undersigned Accountable Manager (AM) hereby promulgates this Manual, approves the organization and the procedures defined herein, and mandates compliance by all AVP employees in accordance with the requirements of Part 145 regulations.
